Start from Imlil and walk up to the pass of Tizi n'Tamatert at 2,300m. Pass through the village of Tamatert with a picnic at the col. Views of two valleys — the Imane Valley and back to the Ait Mizane Valley. Duration: 4 hours walking.
Trek from Imlil up to the cool waters by the Sanctuary of Sidi Chamharouch along the route towards Toubkal. Follow the Reraya river, passing Aremd village. Picnic on arrival or en route. Duration: 4 hours return.
Walk from Imlil to the pass of Tizi Mazik at 2,500m, passing through villages of Argan and Mazik. Views of the Azzaden Valley and Ait Mizane Valley. Duration: 5 hours walking.
Trek up to Tizi n'Tamatert col, descend into the stunning Imane Valley. Walk by Tinerhourhine village to Aguersioual, following river courses, crossing seguias (traditional irrigation canals), past terraces and through walnut groves. Duration: 6–7 hours.
